(Note about Santa in T-Shirt: I was born and raised in Argentina, southern Hemisphere. Christmas is in summer there, a very hot summer in fact, so for me was impossible to picture Santa wearing his North-Pole suit in that heat!)

Gal and Noa’s dads

This book is about a gay couple that got married and decided to have children through in vitro fertilization and womb rental. It’s told from the perspective of the children -the twin girls talk about it with their friends in the kindergarten, and later they ask questions to their fathers about how everything happened. It’s a true story, it was written by the mother of one of the guys (and thus the grandmother of the twin girls), and she did it to make the whole story simple and child-friendly. Because it’s “based on a true story”, many things in the illustrations were constrained by the requests of the author, who was trying to make the images as accurate to reality as possible… Comes with the territory!

Breast Side Stories

“Breast Side Stories”, by Orit Gilad, combines 100 funny stories of breast feeding mothers from all over the world. Here are some of the 44 illustrations I did for the book:

I’m back!

After very very very intense 3 years, I’m back to my good old blog. This time, I will be posting not only  my children illustrations, but my domestic comics too -comics I’ve been doing all my life, just because. So to start, here is a quick review of what’s been going on in my life in these last 3 years-almost-four.
